Updates

Every change to the data and guides, newest first. Spotted a rule that changed? Tell us.

  1. Every status re-checked against official lists

"Works" now means the country appears on a list published by the service itself. Payoneer and Stripe Atlas don't publish a country list, so they moved to "Check first" in every country. PayPal in Pakistan moved to "Check first" for the same reason.

  2. Local guides rebuilt from official sources only

The local sections for Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria and Nigeria now cite only official pages: payment services, the Office des Changes, Tunisian Startup Act circulars and government reports. The Egypt section is removed until official sources are confirmed.

  3. Nigeria: PayPal payments through Paga

Paga lets Nigerian users connect a PayPal account, receive international payments and withdraw them in naira.

  4. New guide: Stripe Atlas vs Firstbase vs doola

Official prices, what's included and the yearly costs, side by side.

  5. New guide: getting your money out of a US company

From a customer's card to your local bank account, with the US and home-country paperwork.

  6. Countries page: search, filters and a legend

Search by country, filter by region or by service, and a card view on phones.

  7. Site launched

24 countries and 7 payment services, each status linked to the service's official page.
