doola review: prices, what's included and who it suits
Updated November 2, 2026
doola forms US companies (LLC or C corporation) for founders who live outside the United States, then sells yearly plans that can include the US tax filings. You don't need to be a US citizen. The prices below were read on doola's official pages on 2 November 2026; check them again before you order.
The plans
| Plan | Price | What doola says it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $297 per year, plus state fees | LLC or C corporation formation, EIN, US business address and virtual mailing address. Operating agreement with yearly billing. |
| Tax and Compliance | $1,999 per year, plus state fees | Everything in Starter, plus federal (IRS) and state tax filing and a one-to-one tax consultation. |
| Business-in-a-Box | $2,999 per year or $329 per month, plus state fees | Everything in Tax and Compliance, plus bookkeeping, monthly financial statements and estimated quarterly taxes. |
Prices from doola's pricing page, 2 November 2026, in US dollars. State fees are paid to the state through doola.
Add-ons worth knowing
- Annual IRS tax filing on its own: $1,500 per year.
- Expedited EIN: $300. ITIN: $499.
- State annual filing on its own: $199 plus the state fee.
- doola says all prices can change and don't include state fees.
Strong points
- One service for formation and, in the higher plans, the yearly IRS and state filings.
- No US citizenship needed, and a free 15-minute call before you pay.
- "Flawless Formation or Your Money Back": doola refunds the part of its service that caused a formation error (conditions in its terms).
Limits
- Priced per year, not one-time: the Starter plan comes back every year.
- doola is not a bank. It points to Mercury for the bank account, which is a separate approval with its own list of excluded countries of residence.
- doola publishes no list of countries it can't serve: ask before you pay.
Who it suits
- Founders with steady revenue who need Stripe and want the yearly US filings handled: compare Tax and Compliance with an accountant's price.
- Founders who will file themselves: Starter is enough, but remember the yearly Form 5472 for a foreign-owned single-member LLC (IRS penalty for not filing: $25,000).
- No revenue yet: a merchant of record such as Dodo Payments is usually a simpler first step, if it accepts your country.
